Trauma-Informed Telehealth Therapy in Alaska
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialized training in military mental health. I earned my MSW in Mental Health with a concentration in Military Social Work and completed my clinical residency and post-graduate clinical training within the United States Air Force.
I work with combat Veterans, women Veterans, and individuals navigating medical or mental health transitions related to military service, while also welcoming civilians seeking thoughtful, trauma-informed care. I support adults experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, chronic stress, and difficult life transitions.
My approach is warm, collaborative, humanistic, and flexible. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine partnership grounded in trust, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I use an eclectic, integrative approach and draw from evidence-based therapies including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), Trauma-Focused ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, strengths-based therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Treatment is always tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, strengths, and pace.
I also value psychoeducation and believe understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, nervous system responses, and behavior can be deeply empowering. My goal is to help clients feel supported while building insight, practical coping tools, and a stronger sense of balance and self-understanding.
Outside of therapy, I have a deep appreciation for art, reflective spaces, and the role creativity can play in healing and self-discovery. I believe meaningful change often begins by creating space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
